Ingredients

  • 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with ground cinnamon.
  3. In another mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, oats, and melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Press half of this mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Pour the creamy filling over the crust in the springform pan.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until set and golden.
  10. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

Use firm apples for best texture. Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts.
