Ingredients
- 2 cups apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, toss the sliced apples with ground cinnamon.
- In another mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, oats, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Press half of this mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour the creamy filling over the crust in the springform pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until set and golden.
- Let it cool before slicing.
Notes
Use firm apples for best texture. Chill before slicing for cleaner cuts.
