Description
Delicious cheese balls filled with bacon, jalapenos, and cream cheese, perfect for parties or as a snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2 cup Green onions, chopped
- 2 Jalapenos, finely diced
- 1/2 tsp Onion powder
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 tsp Paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the crumbled bacon, garlic powder, green onions, diced jalapenos, onion powder, eggs, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese to the bowl and mix until fully combined.
- Using your hands, form the mixture into balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Roll each ball into breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium heat.
- Fry the cheese balls in small batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Use cooled bacon to prevent the mixture from being too wet. Chill the mixture for easier shaping.
