Description
Rich and chocolatey brownies with a hint of fruity banana, easily baked in one pan.
Ingredients
- 3 medium ripe bananas
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 5/8 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a bowl.
- Mix the butter and sugars until creamy, then add the eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in the mashed bananas.
- Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best sweet taste and moist texture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
