Description

Fun and quick mini burgers that taste like classic Big Macs, perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 12 mini burger buns or slider buns
  • 12 small round cheddar or American cheese slices
  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 12 dill pickle slices
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tsp white vinegar or pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce: In a bowl mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir and chill.
  2. Form patties: Divide beef into 12 equal pieces. Shape into thin patties slightly wider than buns. Press a small dent in center.
  3. Season: Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of patties.
  4. Cook patties: Heat a skillet or griddle with butter or oil over medium-high heat. Cook patties 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Add cheese: Place a slice of cheese on each hot patty for the last 30 seconds so it melts.
  6. Toast buns: Lightly toast buns on the pan until golden.
  7. Assemble: Spread sauce on bottom bun, add a patty with cheese, top with chopped onion, a pickle slice, and shredded lettuce. Add a small dab of sauce on the top bun and close.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

These mini burgers are great for parties, game days, or a quick family meal. Make the sauce ahead to save time.
