Description
Fun and quick mini burgers that taste like classic Big Macs, perfect for parties or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 12 mini burger buns or slider buns
- 12 small round cheddar or American cheese slices
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 12 dill pickle slices
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp sweet pickle relish
- 1 tsp white vinegar or pickle juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
- Make the sauce: In a bowl mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir and chill.
- Form patties: Divide beef into 12 equal pieces. Shape into thin patties slightly wider than buns. Press a small dent in center.
- Season: Sprinkle salt and pepper on both sides of patties.
- Cook patties: Heat a skillet or griddle with butter or oil over medium-high heat. Cook patties 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Add cheese: Place a slice of cheese on each hot patty for the last 30 seconds so it melts.
- Toast buns: Lightly toast buns on the pan until golden.
- Assemble: Spread sauce on bottom bun, add a patty with cheese, top with chopped onion, a pickle slice, and shredded lettuce. Add a small dab of sauce on the top bun and close.
- Serve warm.
