Description

Delicious cookie bites with the flavors of Boston cream pie, topped with vanilla custard and chocolate frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup vanilla custard
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until fluffy and light.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Once cooled, generously pipe or spread the vanilla custard over the tops of the cookies and drizzle with chocolate frosting.
  10. Let the cookies set before indulging!

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze the plain baked cookies without custard for up to 1 month.
