Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed graham crackers
- 2 boxes instant butterscotch pudding mix
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or sauce for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Combine finely crushed graham crackers with melted butter and press into a pie dish to form the crust.
- In another bowl, whisk together the butterscotch pudding mix and milk until thickened.
- Gently fold in the whipped topping until blended.
- Pour the butterscotch filling into the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
- Before serving, add chocolate shavings or drizzle chocolate sauce on top.
Notes
Press the crust firmly to hold together. Use cold milk for quicker thickening. Chill longer for a firmer pie.
