Ingredients

  • 500 g apples, peeled and chopped
  • 220 g vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 57 g melted butter (salted or unsalted)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Whipped cream for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chopped apples with cinnamon and set aside to let those flavors mingle.
  3. In another bowl, combine the vanilla wafer crumbs with the melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  4. Press this crumb mixture into the bottom of your serving cups to create a delicious little crust.
  5. Fill the cups generously with the cinnamon-spiced apples.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the apples.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are tender and aromatic.
  8. Once cooled slightly, add a dollop of whipped cream on top.
