Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bowtie pasta
  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, season with salt and pepper, and add to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is no longer pink.
  4. Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, stirring until melted and combined.
  5. Mix in the cooked pasta and shredded mozzarella, stirring until everything is well coated and the cheese is melted.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, brown the chicken a bit more before adding the cream cheese. You can also add vegetables like broccoli or spinach for added nutrition.
