Description

A delightful dessert combining cream cheese, pistachios, and cherries, perfect for special occasions or a cozy evening.


Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 can Cherry pie filling
  • 1/4 cup Pistachio pudding mix, dry
  • 11 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup ground Pistachios
  • 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 5 tbsp Butter
  • 16 oz Cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream; mix well.
  4. Stir in the pistachio pudding mix and ground pistachios.
  5. Press the graham cracker crumbs mixed with melted butter into the bottom of the springform pan to form the crust.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  7. Spoon the cherry pie filling on top of the cheesecake.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
  9. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. Use high-quality cherry pie filling for the best taste.
