A delightful dessert combining cream cheese, pistachios, and cherries, perfect for special occasions or a cozy evening.
Ingredients
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 can Cherry pie filling
- 1/4 cup Pistachio pudding mix, dry
- 11 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup ground Pistachios
- 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
- 5 tbsp Butter
- 16 oz Cream cheese
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream; mix well.
- Stir in the pistachio pudding mix and ground pistachios.
- Press the graham cracker crumbs mixed with melted butter into the bottom of the springform pan to form the crust.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
- Spoon the cherry pie filling on top of the cheesecake.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. Use high-quality cherry pie filling for the best taste.
