Description
These cookies mix sweet and salty flavors with M&M’s, potato chips, and pretzels, making them a festive treat perfect for sharing.
Ingredients
- 2 Egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 3/4 cup Brown sugar, light packed
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/3 cup White chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup White sugar, granulated
- 1/3 cup Potato chip pieces
- 1/3 cup Pretzel pieces
- 3/4 cup Butter, salted
- 1/2 cup M&M’s, red and green
- 2 tbsp Red and green jimmies
- 2 tsp Vanilla bean paste or extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg yolks and vanilla bean paste (or extract) to the creamed mixture and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips, potato chip pieces, pretzel pieces, and M&M’s.
- Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Sprinkle the tops with red and green jimmies for decoration.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Make sure your butter is softened to room temperature for easy mixing. Feel free to substitute the mix-ins with your favorite candies or nuts. Don’t overmix the dough to keep the cookies soft.
