These cookies mix sweet and salty flavors with M&M’s, potato chips, and pretzels, making them a festive treat perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar, light packed
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/3 cup White chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup White sugar, granulated
  • 1/3 cup Potato chip pieces
  • 1/3 cup Pretzel pieces
  • 3/4 cup Butter, salted
  • 1/2 cup M&M’s, red and green
  • 2 tbsp Red and green jimmies
  • 2 tsp Vanilla bean paste or extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolks and vanilla bean paste (or extract) to the creamed mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips, potato chip pieces, pretzel pieces, and M&M’s.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Sprinkle the tops with red and green jimmies for decoration.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Make sure your butter is softened to room temperature for easy mixing. Feel free to substitute the mix-ins with your favorite candies or nuts. Don’t overmix the dough to keep the cookies soft.
