Description
A quick and tasty weeknight meal featuring buttery garlic chicken and linguine pasta.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the linguine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat until bubbly.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant; do not burn.
- Season chicken breasts with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Add cooked linguine back into the skillet and toss in the garlic butter until well coated.
- Serve linguine topped with sliced chicken and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding a squeeze of lemon or grilled vegetables as a side.
