Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef or turkey
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Head cabbage, small slices thick
- 1 Onion, medium, chopped
- 1 Egg, large
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Paprika, Smoked
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 cup Cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic and onions until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, sautéed onions and garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, paprika, and salt.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the cabbage slices at the bottom.
- Add the meat mixture on top of the cabbage, pressing it down gently.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve warm, cut into squares or wedges, with side dishes like salad or crusty bread. For added flavor, consider toppings like sour cream or hot sauce.
