Description

A warm, creamy casserole combining cooked chicken, rice, cheese, and French onion flavor, perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chicken, Cooked
  • 1 1/2 cups French fried onions
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tbsp Parsley
  • 1 can Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup French onion soup
  • 3 cups White rice, Cooked
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Mozzarella or Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup Sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, French fried onions, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, cooked white rice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. Fold in the mozzarella or Swiss cheese and sour cream until evenly combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with extra cheese if desired.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time. This dish can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
