Description
A warm, creamy casserole combining cooked chicken, rice, cheese, and French onion flavor, perfect for family meals.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Chicken, Cooked
- 1 1/2 cups French fried onions
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 2 tbsp Parsley
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 3 cups White rice, Cooked
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 cup Mozzarella or Swiss cheese
- 1 cup Sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, French fried onions, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, cooked white rice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Fold in the mozzarella or Swiss cheese and sour cream until evenly combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with extra cheese if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken to save time. This dish can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
