Ingredients
- 4 slices Bacon
- 1 lb Italian sausage, ground
- 2 cups Cauliflower florets
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 cups Kale
- 1/4 cup White onion, chopped
- 32 fl oz Chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped bacon and cook until crispy.
- Add ground Italian sausage and cook until browned.
- Stir in chopped onion and garlic powder, cooking until onion is translucent.
- Add cauliflower florets and chicken broth, bringing to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until cauliflower is tender, about 10 minutes.
- Add chopped kale, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 5 minutes until kale is wilted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
Chop the cauliflower into even pieces for even cooking. Use bone broth for richer taste. Add cream last and heat gently to avoid curdling.
