Description
Quick and flavorful Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs with a sweet and spicy sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Chicken thighs, boneless skinless
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup Green onions, sliced
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 1 large Red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 large Yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- 1 cup Rice, cooked
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp Water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, Sriracha, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and water. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add onions and bell peppers, cook until softened.
- Push veggies to the side and add chicken thighs to the pan. Cook until browned on both sides.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, bringing it to a simmer.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with a bit of water to make a slurry. Add to the pan and stir until sauce thickens.
- Serve over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
Pat the chicken dry before cooking for better browning. Adjust sauce ingredients to your taste.
