Description
Quick and easy Keto-friendly snack made with deli salami and a flavorful cream cheese filling.
Ingredients
- 20 thin slices of deli salami (about 2–3 inches wide)
- 8 oz (225 g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives or green onion
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: 2–3 sliced dill pickles, finely chopped or thin strips of roasted red pepper
- Optional garnish: smoked paprika or fresh parsley
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes.
- Make the filling by mixing cream cheese, shredded cheddar, chives, Dijon, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Prepare the salami slices by laying them flat on a clean board.
- Assemble each roll-up by placing about 1 teaspoon of filling across the edge of the salami slice and rolling it tightly.
- Chill the roll-ups seam-down on a plate in the fridge for 10–20 minutes.
- Slice each roll if desired and serve.
Notes
Use chilled salami for easier rolling and ensure the cream cheese is softened adequately for easy spreading. Adjust spices to taste.
