Description

A delightful dish combining flavors and warmth, ideal for family dinners or gatherings, featuring a spicy kick and creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Yellow onion, medium
  • 2 cups Chicken broth, low-sodium
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce, low-sodium
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and paprika.
  2. Dredge the seasoned chicken in all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and add the chicken. Cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add diced onion and sauté until translucent.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce, stirring to combine.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Stir in heavy cream, adjust seasoning if necessary, and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Notes

Serve hot with biscuits or cornbread, and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
