Ingredients
- 4 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 4 Pork chops, bone-in
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
- 3 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Maple syrup
- 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
- 3/8 tsp Black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 2 cup Milk
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same skillet, season pork chops with salt and pepper and cook until browned on both sides. Remove chops and set aside.
- In the skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in garlic powder, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and flour until well combined.
- Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream, allowing the sauce to thicken.
- Return pork chops to the skillet, cover with sauce, and simmer until cooked through.
- Sprinkle bacon on top before serving.
Notes
Use a heavy skillet for better browning. Avoid rushing the sauce and taste for salt after thickening.
