Description

A warm and simple pork chop dish featuring salty bacon, sweet maple, and tangy Dijon in a creamy sauce, perfect for a fast and full-flavored dinner.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 Pork chops, bone-in
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 3 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 3/8 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same skillet, season pork chops with salt and pepper and cook until browned on both sides. Remove chops and set aside.
  3. In the skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in garlic powder, Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and flour until well combined.
  5. Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  6. Return pork chops to the skillet, cover with sauce, and simmer until cooked through.
  7. Sprinkle bacon on top before serving.

Notes

Use a heavy skillet for better browning. Avoid rushing the sauce and taste for salt after thickening.
