Quick and simple no-bake treats made with oats, coconut, and chocolate, perfect for snacks or desserts.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, shredded coconut, and chocolate chips. Stir well.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, combine nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the nut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture into a lined baking dish evenly.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Once set, cut into bars or squares and enjoy.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze the bars for up to 2 months and thaw in the fridge before serving.
