Ingredients
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1/2 cup Milk (whole or non-dairy options allowed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and then add in the maple syrup and melted butter.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Stir in the milk gradually until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before topping with a glaze made from powdered sugar and a small amount of milk.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
