Description

Delightful soft baked maple donut bars with warm flavors of maple syrup and cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1/2 cup Milk (whole or non-dairy options allowed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and then add in the maple syrup and melted butter.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, granulated sugar, and salt.
  4. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  5. Stir in the milk gradually until the batter is smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before topping with a glaze made from powdered sugar and a small amount of milk.
  9. Cut into bars and serve.
