Description

A delicious and healthy twist on traditional burgers, combining ground chicken, spinach, and creamy cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or extra cheese

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  5. Serve on burger buns with optional toppings.

Notes

Ensure the spinach is finely chopped to blend well into the patties. You can use fresh or frozen spinach, but remove excess moisture if using frozen. Add herbs and spices for extra flavor.
