Description

These truffle bites combine soft velvet strawberry cake with cream cheese and white chocolate, featuring a fresh strawberry surprise in each bite.


Ingredients

  • 12 Fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Freeze-dried strawberries or reserved cake crumbs
  • 2 cups Velvet strawberry cake
  • 2 cups White chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 6 oz Cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the velvet strawberry cake and let it cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend the cooled cake with cream cheese and powdered sugar until well combined.
  3. Fold in the freeze-dried strawberries or reserved cake crumbs.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls and press a fresh strawberry into the center of each ball.
  5. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. Melt the white chocolate chips or melting wafers in a microwave or double boiler.
  7. Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  8. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off before placing the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Let the truffles set in the refrigerator until the chocolate hardens.
  10. Serve chilled and enjoy the bite-sized treats!
