Description
A cheesy baked side dish made with sweet onions and a blend of three types of cheese, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 4 sweet onions
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup grated provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the sweet onions into rings.
- In a baking dish, layer the onion rings.
- Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper over the onions.
- Layer the mozzarella, parmesan, and provolone cheeses on top of the onions.
- Dot the mixture with butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the onions are tender and the cheese is golden and bubbling.
- Serve hot as a side dish.
Notes
Use Vidalia onions for the best flavor. Consider adding garlic powder or paprika for extra taste.
