Description

A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets topped with a creamy, spicy bang bang sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 Green onions, chopped
  • 1 Lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Rice vinegar or lime juice
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey (or maple syrup), lime juice (or rice vinegar), Sriracha, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt to create the bang bang sauce.
  3. Coat the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread a generous amount of the bang bang sauce over each fillet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

Ensure not to overbake the salmon; it can become dry. Adjust the spiciness of the sauce to your preference.
