Description

Roasted cabbage steaks infused with garlic and smoked paprika for a simple yet flavorful dish that impresses.


Ingredients

  • 1 Head cabbage
  • 3/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the cabbage into thick ‘steaks’.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush both sides of the cabbage steaks with the olive oil mixture.
  5. Place the cabbage steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway, until the cabbage is tender and golden brown.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges for squeezing over the top.
