Description

Delightful fusion of red velvet cake flavors with a chewy cookie texture, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter (optional, for added richness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the red velvet cake mix, vegetable oil, and eggs. Stir in the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder until a soft dough forms.
  3. Fold in white chocolate chips if using.
  4. Use a cookie scoop to portion out dough, roll into balls, and coat in powdered sugar.
  5. Place on baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are set and tops are cracked.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before moving to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading. Customize with different mix-ins for variations.
