Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey (or maple syrup), lime juice (or rice vinegar), Sriracha, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and salt to create the bang bang sauce.
- Coat the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread a generous amount of the bang bang sauce over each fillet.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
Make sure not to overbake the salmon to prevent it from becoming dry. It's also great as leftovers or served cold. If you have leftovers, let them cool completely before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until warmed through. Do not freeze as it may alter the texture of the salmon.
