Method
Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning, buffalo sauce, milk, cheddar cheese, and 1.5 cups of mozzarella cheese until smooth and well combined.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8-10 minutes. Drain and lay flat to prevent sticking.
Assembly
- Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Lay down a layer of cooked lasagna noodles on top, followed by another layer of the cheese mixture and shredded chicken.
- Repeat these layers until you reach the top, finishing with the cheese mixture. Sprinkle the remaining 0.5 cup of mozzarella cheese evenly over the final layer.
Baking
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and place it in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is beautifully golden and browned.
Serving
- Let the lasagna rest for 8-10 minutes before slicing. Serve garnished with ranch dressing, chopped green onions, or blue cheese crumbles.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. The lasagna can also be frozen for up to 3 months. For reheat, thaw overnight in the fridge and bake at 350°F (175°C) until heated through.
