For the Chicken
  • 3 pieces chicken drumsticks Choose high-quality chicken for better flavor.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For marinating the chicken.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp mixed herbs
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste Avoid using too much salt to prevent drying out the chicken.
For the Fries
  • 3 large potatoes, cut into fries Look for firm potatoes with smooth skin.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For frying or baking the fries.
For the Salad
  • 2 cups lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 large red onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For the salad dressing.
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, turmeric, garlic powder, mixed herbs, salt, and pepper, and rub this mixture under the skin of the chicken.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Cut the potatoes into fries and soak in cold water to remove starch.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the seasoned drumsticks on a baking tray and roast for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Bake or fry the soaked potatoes until crispy and golden brown.
Salad Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine lettuce, tomato wedges, and sliced red onion.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then toss well.
Serving
  1. Plate the roasted chicken, crispy fries, and fresh salad, making sure to highlight the vibrant colors.
