Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup Butter, salted Ensure butter is softened to room temperature
  • 3/4 cup Brown sugar, light packed
  • 1/4 cup White sugar, granulated
  • 2 each Egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla bean paste or extract Regular vanilla extract can be used as a substitute
Dry Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour Can substitute with gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Mix-ins
  • 1/3 cup White chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup Potato chip pieces
  • 1/3 cup Pretzel pieces
  • 1/2 cup M&M's, red and green
  • 2 tablespoons Red and green jimmies For decoration

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the salted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolks and vanilla bean paste (or extract) to the creamed mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips, potato chip pieces, pretzel pieces, and M&M's.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Sprinkle the tops with red and green jimmies for decoration.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  2. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen in a freezer-safe bag for up to three months. Customize by using dark chocolate chips or adding dried cranberries.
