Ingredients
  

Chicken and Marinade
  • 1.5 lbs Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 tsp Lemon, zest
  • 1 tsp Paprika, smoked
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Thyme, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh, chopped
Cooking Fats
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 6 tbsp Butter, unsalted
  • 1 Lemon cut into wedges For serving
Optional Ingredients
  • 1 splash White wine For extra flavor, optional
  • 1 tbsp Honey For a sweet and spicy twist, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the olive oil and butter.
  2. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the lemon zest, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, paprika, red pepper flakes, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl with the mustard mixture, ensuring the chicken is fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Add the chicken to the hot pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Serve the chicken bites with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Cut chicken into similar-sized pieces for even cooking. Don't crowd the pan; cook in batches if needed. Adjust salt and lemon to taste, and use fresh herbs for a brighter flavor.
