Preparation
- Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, combine the ground chuck, crumbled bacon, and ranch dressing mix. Form the mixture into patties.
Cooking
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns until golden.
Assembly
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the patty with melted cheese, and a dollop of sour cream on top.
- Add the top bun and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve these burgers hot right after you make them. Pair with fries, a simple salad, or pickles on the side. Optional: add extra ketchup, mustard, or more sour cream for more flavor.
