  • 1 fillet salmon fillet Look for firm, shiny salmon with a clean scent.
  • 6–8 pieces shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh or frozen shrimp can be used.
Vegetables
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Steam until bright green and tender.
  • 1/2 cup sweet corn Can be warmed in a pan.
Seasoning and Flavoring
  • 1 slice lemon For garnish.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Can be substituted for olive oil for a dairy-free option.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the dish.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • to taste paprika For seasoning the seafood.
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • as needed tablespoons olive oil For searing the salmon.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the salmon and shrimp with salt, black pepper, and paprika to enhance their natural flavors.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon skin-side down and cook until golden brown, about 4–5 minutes.
  2. Remove the salmon and melt butter in the same pan. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until they turn pink, approximately 2–3 minutes.
  4. Steam broccoli until tender, around 3 minutes.
  5. Warm the corn in a small saucepan while the broccoli steams.
  6. Plate the salmon, shrimp, broccoli, and corn. Garnish with parsley and a lemon slice.

Notes

For an even better flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine to the garlic butter during cooking. This dish is best served immediately with rice or a refreshing cucumber salad.
