  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Use to taste or a substitute for low-sodium diets.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Replace with avocado oil if necessary.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the cauliflower into thick steaks, about 3/4- to 1-inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, salt, and olive oil until smooth.
  4. Brush the spice mixture onto both sides of the cauliflower steaks.
  5. Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced well.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown.
  2. Serve hot, transferring to a plate immediately.

Notes

To store, cool steaks to room temperature, then refrigerate in an airtight container for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze up to 2 months. For the best texture when reheating, use the oven at 400°F (200°C).
