Preparation

- Slice the cauliflower into thick steaks, about 3/4- to 1-inch thick.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, paprika, salt, and olive oil until smooth.
- Brush the spice mixture onto both sides of the cauliflower steaks.
- Place the steaks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced well.
Cooking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown.
- Serve hot, transferring to a plate immediately.
Notes
To store, cool steaks to room temperature, then refrigerate in an airtight container for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze up to 2 months. For the best texture when reheating, use the oven at 400°F (200°C).
