Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the dried basil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, black pepper, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together.
Coating
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, followed by grated Parmesan cheese.
- Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and spray lightly with olive oil.
Baking
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
Serving
- Serve hot with your choice of pasta, salad, or vegetables.
Notes
Pound the chicken to an even thickness for even cooking. Use a light spray of olive oil to help browning. Let the chicken rest for 3-5 minutes post baking to retain juiciness.
