For the Chicken Wings
  • 2 lbs chicken wings Opt for fresh, plump chicken wings.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Helps spices adhere.
  • 1 tsp paprika For vibrant flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt For seasoning.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce Homemade or store-bought.
For the Fries
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries Can substitute with sweet potatoes.
  • Vegetable oil for frying Ensure oil is hot before frying.
  • 1 tsp salt For seasoning.
For the Greek Salad
  • 3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cucumber slices
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese Can use dairy-free feta if needed.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice For zest.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until they are evenly coated.
  3. Place the seasoned wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
Cooking the Wings and Fries
  1. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
  2. During the last 10 minutes, brush the wings with BBQ sauce.
  3. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat and fry the potato pieces until they turn golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
Making the Greek Salad
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the romaine lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta.
  2. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper.
Serving
  1. Serve the crispy wings alongside the golden fries and the vibrant Greek salad on a large platter.

Notes

For extra crunch, coat wings lightly in cornstarch before baking. Use frozen, pre-cut fries for faster preparation.
