Ingredients
  

Steak and Eggs
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into cubes Choose well-marbled for juiciness.
  • 2 large eggs For sunny-side-up eggs.
  • 1 tbsp butter For frying the eggs.
Flavorings
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For marinating steak.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Add for flavor.
  • 1 small red chili, finely diced For a bit of heat.
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley For garnishing.
Fries
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries Use Yukon Gold for creaminess.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Toss the cubed sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Deep-fry the cut potatoes until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt after frying.
Cooking the Steak
  1. In a skillet, heat on high, add seasoned steak cubes in a single layer, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. One minute before steak is done, add minced garlic, diced chili, and parsley.
Frying the Eggs
  1. Melt butter in another pan over medium heat and crack in the eggs. Fry until the whites are set and yolks remain runny.
Plating
  1. Plate the crispy fries, sunny-side-up eggs, and steak bites together.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze components separately.
