Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Ensure each drumstick is thoroughly coated.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes, or longer for deeper flavor.
Cooking
- Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the chicken on the grill or a baking sheet and cook for 35-40 minutes until it’s crispy and the juices run clear.
- In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil on medium-high heat. Add the thick-cut potatoes and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy, about 10-15 minutes.
- In another pan, heat a little olive oil and add the sliced bell peppers and onion. Sauté until soft and translucent, about 8-10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, minced garlic, paprika, and chili flakes. Mix well and set aside.
Serving
- Plate the grilled chicken, crispy fries, and sautéed vegetables together. Drizzle the prepared spicy tomato sauce over the chicken.
