For the Fries
  • 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries Russet potatoes work best for crispiness.
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt For seasoning.
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Opt for aged Parmesan for richer flavor.
For the Steak
  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes Choose a high-quality cut.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For cooking the steak.
  • 3 tbsp butter For the garlic butter sauce.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.
  • 1 tsp black pepper For seasoning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the cut fries with vegetable oil, garlic powder, paprika, and salt until evenly coated.
Cooking the Fries
  1. Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Cooking the Steak
  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with a paper towel, then season liberally with salt and black pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned steak cubes and sear until browned on all sides for about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Lower the heat and add the butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley to the skillet, tossing until the steak is well-coated.
Serving
  1. Arrange the crispy fries next to the garlic butter steak bites on a platter, spooning any remaining sauce over the steak.

Notes

Crispy Parmesan Fries can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
