Ingredients
  

For the Steak
  • 1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced Look for well-marbled steak for tenderness.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce For a gluten-free option, use tamari.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
For the Vegetables
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 each red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 each green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil For sautéing.
For the Fries
  • 4 cups frozen French fries Cook according to package instructions.
For the Salad
  • 1 cup cucumber, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups lettuce, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice Can substitute with lime juice.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For the salad.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the French fries according to package instructions, either by baking or air frying until golden brown and crispy, about 20-25 minutes.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers, cooking until soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the marinated steak to the skillet with the vegetables. Increase the heat to high and cook for about 3-5 minutes until the steak is browned and tender.
Assembly
  1. In a separate bowl, toss together the lettuce, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes with lemon juice and olive oil for a fresh salad.
  2. Serve the crispy fries topped with the steak and vegetable mixture, alongside the salad.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, use a freezer bag and enjoy within 3 months.
