Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Boil a pot of salted water, add the penne and cook according to package instructions (typically 11-13 minutes) until al dente. Avoid overcooking.
Preparing the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then add to the skillet.
  2. Cook for 7-8 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Listen for a satisfying sizzle.
Adding Garlic and Combining
  1. Once the chicken is cooked, add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  2. Pour in chicken broth and stir gently to combine, deglazing the pan.
  3. Add the drained, cooked pasta and toss to coat in the garlic sauce.

Notes
