  • 4 cups Rice or corn Chex mix cereal For gluten-free needs, use certified gluten-free Chex or puffed rice cereal.
  • 1/3 cup icing sugar Sift if clumpy to keep an even, fine dust.
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Look for 'real chocolate' or those with cocoa butter near the top of the ingredient list.

  1. In a large bowl, add the Chex mix cereal.
  2. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Once melted, pour the white chocolate over the Chex mix and stir gently to coat.
  4. Chop the freeze-dried strawberries into smaller pieces and add them to the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the icing sugar over the mixture and gently toss until everything is well-coated.
  6. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet to let it cool.
  7. Once cooled, enjoy your fluffy strawberry shortcake puppy chow!
