Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Marinade
  • 4 drumsticks chicken drumsticks Fresh with a pinkish hue and firm texture.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Can substitute with tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp paprika Try smoked paprika for deeper flavor.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
For the Fries
  • 4 medium potatoes Russets or Yukon Golds recommended.
For the Salad
  • 1 cup lettuce
  • 1/2 cucumber diced
  • 1 tomato sliced
For Serving
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sauce or BBQ sauce
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the drumsticks well in the marinade.
Cook the Fries
  1. Cut potatoes into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick. Fry in hot oil or bake at 425°F until golden.
Grill the Chicken
  1. Preheat your grill or oven. Grill chicken for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through.
Prep the Fresh Salad
  1. Combine chopped lettuce, diced cucumber, and sliced tomato in a bowl.
Pack & Serve
  1. Arrange grilled chicken, crispy fries, and fresh salad in a meal box. Drizzle with ketchup and BBQ sauce; garnish with parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of lemon juice to the marinade. Soak fries in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking for extra crispiness.
