Ingredients
  

For the chicken wings
  • 8 pieces chicken wings Fresh, plump wings are best. Frozen wings can be used if thawed properly.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Use for a gluten-free option.
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
For the fries
  • 4 large potatoes Cut into fries; starchy varieties like Russets work best.
For the salad
  • 2 cups lettuce Chopped.
  • 1 medium tomato Cut into chunks.
  • 1/2 medium cucumber Sliced.
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese Crumble; can swap for avocado for a dairy-free version.
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes for flavor absorption.
  2. Slice the potatoes thickly into fries, ensuring they are similar sizes for even cooking.
Cooking
  1. Bake or fry the seasoned potatoes until they are golden and crispy, keeping an eye out for a deep golden color.
  2. Grill or bake the marinated wings for about 25–30 minutes until they are charred and juicy.
Salad Preparation
  1. Toss lettuce, tomato, cucumber, feta cheese, and lemon juice together.
Plating
  1. On a large platter, arrange the grilled wings, crispy fries, and fresh salad. Serve with dipping sauces or drinks of your choice.

Notes

The grilled chicken wings will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container. For freezing, store in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for about 15-20 minutes.
