Ingredients
  

For the Steak Skewers
  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1½-inch cubes Look for bright red meat with marbling for tenderness.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Use high-quality extra virgin olive oil for better flavor.
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Make sure it's gluten-free if needed.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Balsamic vinegar can serve as an alternative.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances flavor.
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
For the Fries
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into thick fries Soaking in cold water for 30 minutes improves crispiness.
  • Vegetable oil for frying Heat to about 350°F (175°C) for frying.
  • Salt to taste
For the Salad
  • 2 cups green leaf lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes sliced into wedges
  • ½ red onion thinly sliced into rings Can substitute with other types of onion.

Method
 

Marinate the Steak
  1. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss in the steak cubes, ensuring they’re all covered evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the Skewers
  1. Thread marinated steak onto wooden skewers, leaving space between each piece for even cooking.
Grill the Steak
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steaks are charred.
Cook the Fries
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to about 350°F (175°C). Fry the potato pieces for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Assemble and Serve
  1. Arrange the cooked steak skewers, crispy fries, and colorful salad on a platter. Serve immediately.

Notes

Pair with a dipping sauce, iced tea, or a chilled white wine for serving. These skewers can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days in an airtight container or frozen for up to 3 months.
