Method
Cooking the Lobster
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobsters and cook for about 8-10 minutes, until they turn bright red.
- Remove them and let them cool before extracting the meat.
Preparing the Sauce
- In a pan, melt the butter over medium heat and sauté the shallots until translucent.
- Add the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and whisk in the Dijon mustard. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly.
Combining Ingredients
- Chop the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces and fold it into the creamy sauce. Allow the flavors to meld for a couple of minutes.
- Stuff the lobster shells with the creamy lobster mixture, packing it in generously.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the stuffed shells on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
For the best results, use fresh lobster, control the sauce temperature, and experiment with different cheeses for variation. Store leftovers properly in an airtight container.
