  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Cake Layer
  • 1 box Triple Chocolate Cake Mix
Topping
  • 1 jar Hot Fudge Topping Use a good quality for best flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. Prepare the brownie mix in a large bowl according to the package instructions, incorporating eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Spread the brownie batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, prepare the cake mix per package instructions and pour over the brownie layer.
  4. Spoon the hot fudge topping evenly over the cake batter.
Baking
  1. Bake for 45-50 minutes, checking for a toothpick inserted to come out mostly clean.
  2. Let it cool slightly, then serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

Notes

Store leftovers covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat single servings in the microwave for 20-30 seconds to warm the fudge. For best results, spread the brownie batter gently and pour the cake batter slowly to keep layers distinct.
