Ingredients
  

For the steaks
  • 2 Ribeye steaks Choose steaks with good marbling for more flavor.
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp smoked Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil For searing the steaks.
For the sauce
  • 6 Garlic cloves Minced.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted Butter For flavor and richness.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Adjust for desired sauce richness.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 sprigs fresh Rosemary or thyme For additional flavor in the sauce.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the ribeye steaks with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  5. Stir in the Dijon mustard, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese, cooking until the sauce is thick and creamy.
  6. Add fresh herbs and season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
Serving
  1. Slice the steaks and serve topped with the creamy garlic sauce.

Notes

Let the steaks rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing for a more flavorful bite. Pair with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad.
