Chicken and Coating
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Use fresh chicken for best results.
  • 1 cup sour cream Can substitute with plain Greek yogurt.
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated is recommended for better flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  3. Take each chicken breast and dip it into the creamy mixture, ensuring it is fully coated.
  4. Place the coated chicken in a baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs generously over the top of the chicken breasts.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden.
  2. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables. Cool the chicken before placing in an airtight container to store. Store in fridge for up to 3 days.
