Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, shredded coconut, and chocolate chips. Stir well.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until smooth and melted.
  3. Pour the nut butter mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Press the mixture into a lined baking dish evenly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
  5. Once set, cut into bars or squares and enjoy your treats.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze in a sealed bag for up to 2 months. Thaw in the fridge before serving.
